When a printer is setup for DHCP (dynamic IP address) setup, make sure you switch the printer on with the Ethernet cable connected. The printer will only try to get an IP address from the DHCP server within one minute after power on. If no address is given the printer will default to 10.0.0.192.

Note: The printer will not detect a disconnect/reconnect of the network cable until the printer is powered off and back on.

The IP address can be found on the self-test ticket of the printer. This can be printed using the test button.
