To load tickets into the printer follow the steps below
- Turn the printer on and wait five seconds. The red CHECK PAPER led will be illuminated (if your printer has an optional LCD then it will display PAPER OUT).

- Begin loading the tickets through the entrance slot with a smooth motion until the ticket stock comes to a stop (at this point the stock is between the thermal head and platen). Keep pressure against the stock and the printer will automatically feed the ticket stock.
The printer will auto measure the media by feeding it forward and then retracting it back into the printer. If the printer is set for Ribbon mode, then it will feed one complete label or ticket out of the printer.
When you need to reload ticket during printer you do not need to turn off your printer. Just insert the new tickets into the paper guide as described by step 2 above. Once the printer loaded the new tickets the printer will continue printing with the existing print job.
Note: When feeding media into the printer the leading edge must be lying flat and not be curled downward or upwards. A downward or upward curled media may not feed properly into the printer and may lead to possible jams. If media is curled, then it will need to be flatten straight before being fed into the printer.

For Universal Paper Guide (UPG) printers
In October of 2019 BOCA transitioned over to using a Universal Paper Guide (UPG). Below are photos of said paper guide.
