During normal operation, the printer will feed the leading edge of the ticket to the cutter position to allow the ticket to be cut.  In some cases it is desirable that the ticket is parked in a different way. Enabling park ticket mode will still feed the leading edge of the ticket to the cut position but after the cut is finished it will reverse the ticket to the print position after the last ticket in a group has been printed.

Note: The park ticket mode cannot be used on printer without a cutter except for printers equipped with an RFID encoder.

Setting Park Ticket Mode through the menu:

  1. Depress both the MENU and CHOICES buttons while turning on the printer.  Keep both buttons depressed unit "FACTORY MENU" appears in the LCD window or the display starts scrolling through different topics.

  2. Using the MENU button scroll down to the "PARK TICKET?" topic.

  3. Using the CHOICES button select "YES" or "NO". Once you have done this press the TEST button.

  4. On "EXIT&SAVE?" press the TEST button again. The printer will reset at this time.

This setting can also be changed via a command through the interface:

ENABLE PARK TICKET MODE - <pt>

Sending the <pt> command causes the printer to reverse the ticket to the print position after the last ticket in a group has been printed. This command will be stored in flash and will remain in effect until an <dpt> command is sent.

DISABLE PARK TICKET MODE - <dpt>

This is the normal default condition of the printer. This command will be stored in flash and will remain in effect until an <pt> is sent.
