Below reviews how to replace the paper guide slider on a Lemur with ADJ2, ADJW, ADJ4, RADJW or RADJ4 paper guide. The slider is attached to the paper guide with two 1/4" nuts. To access these you usually need to lift up the paper guide.
Please follow the procedure below.
- Remove the four screws (two on each side of the print cage) to loosen the paper guide.
- Lift the paper guide up as much as possible.
- Loosen the two nuts holding the slider assy. to the paper guide itself. Do not fully remove the nuts.
- Push/turn the old slider out downwards / forwards.
- Insert the new slider upwards/backwards.
- Make sure is its straight and tighten the nuts.
- Push the paper guide back down and install the four screws.
Test the printer to see is works correctly.
You may have moved the opto during this procedure and adjusting it may be required.
