If you experience problems with cutting,  a poor print out or or ticket feeding, the print head assembly may have gotten unlocked. This may happen during shipping.


Please follow the steps below to make sure the print head assembly is fully pressed down and locked on both sides.

Note: Lemur-X desktop models are supplied with the black cover. Vertical and kiosk models are supplied without.


Warning: Unplug the power adapter from the printer


If your Lemur-X has a black cover, remove this first by removing the two screws in the front of the cabinet.


Unlock the print head (1) then open it (2).


Close the print head again and press down to lock it.


Make sure the print head is fully locked on both sides


If your Lemur-X has a black cover, put back on to the printer and secure it with the two screws at the front. 


Now you can try power it back on and print a test ticket.



If you followed the steps above and you still have a poor print out similar to the image below.


Please try to tighten the print heads screw slightly. Occasionally one or both may have come loose during shipping.
