Looking at the printer’s serial number tag, the below chart should aid in determining the correct print head to order.  

On the Lemur ID label look at DPI and width. Compare this with the list below.

Below you will find an image and a description of the print head for physical identification.

S200C3

• 3.25” 200dpi
• The head is a 200 dpi “C” 3.25" à 200C3 also referred to as 2C on the ID label
• Used only in Lemur-X, lemur-C, Lemur-R, Lemur-L and Lemur-LS models. 
• Two narrow connectors for (grey) print head cable
• It has 5 golden connections to the print head elements

S200L4

• 4” 200dpi
• The head is a 200 dpi “Long life” 4" à 200L4 also referred to as 2L on the ID label
• Used in all newer Lemur models (except Lemur-X, lemur-C, Lemur-R Lemur-L, Lemur-LS and Lemur-M models).
• Two wide connectors for (black) print head cable
• Used for all paper guides both 3.25” and 4” wide
• It has 13 golden connections to the print head elements (pointing inwards)

S300L4

• 4” 300dpi
• The head is a 300 dpi “Long life” 4" à 300L4 also referred to as 3L on the ID label
• Used in all newer Lemur models (except Lemur-X, lemur-C, Lemur-R Lemur-L, Lemur-LS and Lemur-M models).
• Two wide connectors for (white) print head cable
• Used for all paper guides both 3.25” and 4” wide
• It has 10 golden connections to the print head elements (pointing more outwards)

SP64-2003

• 3.25” 200dpi
• The head is a 200 dpi 3.25" à 2003 also referred to as 200 on the ID label
• Used in all older Lemur models (except Lemur-X, lemur-C, Lemur-R Lemur-L and Lemur-LS) 
• Used in newer Lemur-M models
• Also used in Ghostwriter models
• 2003 shown on label on print head
• One connector for print head wide ribbon cable
• Used for all paper guides 3.25” wide and 2” ADJ wide
• It has 10 golden connections to the print head elements

SP64-3003

• 3.25” 300dpi
• The head is a 300 dpi 3.25" à 3003 also referred to as 300 on the ID label
• Used in all older Lemur models (except Lemur-X, lemur-C, Lemur-R Lemur-L and Lemur-LS) 
• Used in newer Lemur-M models
• Also used in Ghostwriter models
• 3003 shown on label on print head
• One connector for print head wide ribbon cable
• Used for all paper guides 3.25” wide and 2” ADJ wide
• It has 8 golden connections to the print head elements

SP64-2004

• 4” 200dpi
• The head is a 200 dpi 4" à 2004 also referred to as 200 on the ID label
• Used in all newer Lemur models (except Lemur-X, lemur-C, Lemur-R Lemur-L, Lemur-LS and Lemur-M models).
• 2004 shown on label on print head
• One connector for print head wide ribbon cable
• Used for all paper guides 4” wide
• It has 14 golden connections to the print head elements

SP64-3004

• 4” 300dpi
• The head is a 300 dpi 4"  3004 also referred to as 300 on the ID label
• Used in all newer Lemur models (except Lemur-X, lemur-C, Lemur-R Lemur-L, Lemur-LS and Lemur-M models).
• 3004 shown on label on print head
• One connector for print head wide ribbon cable
• Used for all paper guides 4” wide
• It has 11 golden connections to the print head elements

SP64-2002

• 2” 200dpi
• The head is a 200 dpi 2" à 2002 also referred to as 200 on the ID label
• On Lemur models only used in older Lemur-M models
• Used in Ghostwriter models
• 2002 shown on label on print head
• One connector for print head narrow ribbon cable
• Used for paper guides 1”, 1.328”, 2” or 2.125” wide
• It has 7 golden connections to the print head elements

SP64-3002

• 2” 300dpi
• The head is a 300 dpi 2" à 3002 also referred to as 300 on the ID label
• On Lemur models only used in older Lemur-M models
