The BOCA printers are not designed to be used from two or more computers at the same time. The printer will mix-up any data that arrives in its input buffer from any interface. This means that data from two computers/tickets may be printed onto one single ticket.
When the software/customer makes use of our BOCA FGL print driver (printing in WYSIWYFG format, for example PDF style tickets), then you can connect the BOCA to the first computer (master computer). Next you share this driver to other computers (slave computers) in the network using the (windows) printer sharing feature. The Slave computers will send their data to the Master computer who will then send it per job to the printer.
Care must be taken that:
- the master computer must always be running when you want to print from any of the computers
- tickets from different computers may be printed in a random order
