This setting defines the cut speed of a BOCA cutter type. 


The options are:


NORMAL (factory default)for 7.5 mil (.0075”) or thinner paper.
SLOWallows cutter to cut through thicker material between 8-11 mil (.008” - .011”) thick.


This feature is set at the factory and should not be changed.



Using the control panel

  1. Depress both the MENU and CHOICES buttons while turning on the printer. Keep both buttons depressed until "FACTORY MENU" appears in the LCD window or the display starts scrolling through different topics.
  2. Using the MENU button scroll down to the "CUTTER SPEED?" topic.
  3. Using the CHOICES button select "NORMAL" or "SLOW". Once you have done this press the TEST button. The printer will reset at this time.


If you need to change the cutter speed on a printer without a display you can send a command to the printer via the interface. You may use the Boca configuration and test tool from our website, in this program you can use the “Send text” option to send one of the following commands in ASCII format.
